We are with you every step of the way, from considering potential colleges, to finding your perfect match.
Most clients start prior to Junior year. The process lasts approximately 18 to 24 months. Includes resume and essay development, interview preparation, application completion, and advocacy, as needed.
Packages are also available for families who wish to start during the Freshmen or Sophomore years.

Covers all the details, and your questions, to help you nail your Application.
Taking you through from start to finish, you will leave this workshop with a completed common application. This workshop is designed to help you complete your Main Application prior to the start of the school year.

Your Team
Keri Saltzman Bahar founded KSB College Consulting over ten years ago to continue her extensive work in higher education and college admissions. Keri earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College and Master of Arts degree from The University of Iowa.
Her first taste of admissions work was as a Senior Interviewer and tour guide at Bowdoin. Since then, she has worked for the ACT organization, served as the Chicago Chair for the the Bowdoin College Alumni Schools Interviewing Committee, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota, and George Washington University.
She welcomes clients from across the United States and Canada and offers a variety of consulting services to meet any student's needs.
Keri's approach is personal, professional, confidential, and yields meaningful results.
Joy Wernick joined KSB College Consulting in September 2018. Originally from the suburbs of Washington, DC, Joy attended college at Tulane University where she received a BA in Sociology. She earned her M.Ed in Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Joy is a certified K-12 school counselor and previously worked as a counselor in elementary and secondary schools in the Philadelphia area.
Joy now lives in northern New Jersey with her family. Her favorite thing about college counseling is helping teenagers to get energized about their futures. She believes that when students are proactive and organized, the college application process is not only manageable but can also be fun!
Joy looks forward to helping each student and family find the right fit for postsecondary success.
