Comprehensive Consult
We are with you every step of the way, from considering potential colleges, to finding your perfect match.
Most clients start prior to Junior year. The process lasts approximately 18 to 24 months. Includes resume and essay development, interview preparation, application completion, deferral and wait list support, financial aid assistance, and advocacy.
Start your package in 9th grade for the best monetary value.
Hourly Retainer Package
First impressions are priceless.
If you have your list of schools ready to go, this package can give you the support you need as you tackle the application pieces, including the resume, main essay, supplementary essays, portfolios, interview prep and application completion. This package is not intended for those still needing to develop a comprehensive list or looking for numerous strategy meetings.
Application Seminar
Covers all details and questions, to help you nail your Application.
The Application Seminar is included in the Comprehensive Consult package. If room is available, drop-in clients can attend for a fee. Contact us to find out more as we take you from the start to a completed common application prior to the start of your school year.

Your Team
Keri Saltzman Bahar founded KSB College Consulting in 2009 to continue her extensive work in higher education and college admissions. Keri earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College and Master of Arts degree from The University of Iowa.
Her first taste of admissions work was as a Senior Interviewer and tour guide at Bowdoin. Since then, she has worked for the ACT organization, served as the Chicago Chair for the the Bowdoin College Alumni Schools Interviewing Committee, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota, and George Washington University.
She has welcomed clients from around the globe, and offers a variety of consulting services to meet any student's needs.
Keri's approach is personal, professional, confidential, and yields meaningful results.
Joy Wernick joined KSB College Consulting in September 2018. Originally from the suburbs of Washington, DC, Joy attended college at Tulane University where she received a BA in Sociology. She earned her M.Ed in Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Joy is a certified K-12 school counselor and previously worked as a counselor in elementary and secondary schools in the Philadelphia area.
Joy now lives in northern New Jersey with her family. Her favorite thing about college counseling is helping teenagers to get energized about their futures. She believes that when students are proactive and organized, the college application process is not only manageable but can also be fun!
Joy looks forward to helping each student and family find the right fit for postsecondary success.
